Why Affiliate Marketing Is So Powerful! Affiliate Marketing Training on Making Money By Selling OTHER People's Products.

Many people know me for my work and results in "network" marketing, but what most people don't know...

Is that over the last year or so, I've made most of my money marketing other people's products and services as an "affiliate", utilizing what is called Affiliate Marketing!

Affiliate marketing is similar to network marketing in the fact that you market products or services (online or off), and when someone buys that specific product/service - you get a percentage of the profits paid as a commission for you. You can also earn off of other people's efforts in affiliate programs that offer a multi-tiered structure.

One HUGE advantage with becoming an affiliate, is that many times the commission percentages for products or services that are sold through an affiliate structure are MUCH HIGHER than those network marketing companies pay out. Another attraction factor many people love, is that you don't have to "recruit" people or build a "downline" - but you still get to earn RESIDUAL INCOME, and you can market as many products/services you want (instead of just one) for multiple streams of income!

There are different types of affiliate programs ranging from things that pay one time commissions each time your marketing makes a sale, to ones that pay you residual commissions every month as people continue subscribing to that service or continue buying that consumable product.

Being an affiliate offers total freedom to be able work from ANYWHERE with simply just your computer, an internet connection, and some specific marketing knowledge! You don't have to attend meetings, spend time on the phone with "tire-kicking" prospects, or worry about your competition. You can also market things that are popular in ANY economic condition, so recessions and bad economies won't kill your business (or income). Truth is, people are ALWAYS buying or investing in SOMETHING (whether it's information or actual products/services) - so you have the opportunity to find out what people ARE buying, and then set yourself up as an affiliate with those things and cash in anytime!

It is important that beginners in affiliate marketing obtain a true perspective on the industry and have realistic expectations. Many people "try" affiliate marketing, but don't make a go of it because they didn't get the right type of training on this industry from someone who has proven experience and results.

With the growing trend of more and more people trying to take control of how they earn their money (instead of depending on an employer or a typical job), affiliate marketing can be a VERY lucrative and rewarding option you may want to look into. You can work COMPLETELY from home, pretty much ZERO upfront investment (as most affiliate programs are free to join), and earn BIG commissions with no strings attached!

1) Having a BUSINESS Perspective:

Too often most people think "emotionally" in getting involved in a network marketing opportunity, and end up just following everyone else out of the perception that it's the best way to go about building your business. Well, the reason leaders become successful leaders - is because they do not follow, but rather CREATE their own path! And they do it by having a true business mindset, in which they seek out the best information and education possible to create their own business plan - which is based on PROVEN, logical strategies instead of the typical "hope and chance" advice the masses follow.

2) Learn About Sales and How People Really Buy:

People say all kind of things to sugar coat this - but this IS a sales business! Think about it: If nothing was bought or sold, where would your commissions come from? Well, prospecting is basically approaching others and presenting information to them in hopes of converting them to your way of thinking. It's spending time with "suspects" trying to convert them into "prospects". Is Affiliate Marketing BETTER Than Network Marketing? Affiliate Marketing vs. Network Marketing. Making Money By Selling Stuff.

Ok, not that there is a completely right or wrong answer to this question...

But, so you can determine YOURSELF what you feel is best for YOU - let's ask this:

Is AFFILIATE Marketing better than NETWORK Marketing?

Well there's good sides to both. I've participated and successfully achieved results in both, and I think they both have their place. I think the question becomes: What is right for YOU? Since most people are already familiar with how network marketing works, let's discuss a few specifics about affiliate marketing here today.

Affiliate marketing is similar to network marketing (mlm) in the fact that you market products or services (online or off), and when someone buys that specific product/service - you get a percentage of the profits paid as a commission for you. You can also earn off of other people's efforts in affiliate programs that offer a multi-tiered structure.

One HUGE advantage with becoming an affiliate, is that many times the commission percentages for products or services that are sold through an affiliate structure are MUCH HIGHER than those network marketing companies pay out (One reason is because the overhead and other expenses the program owner has are much less than a big networking company's expenses). Another attraction factor many people love, is that you don't have to "recruit" people or build a "downline" - but you still get to earn RESIDUAL INCOME, and you can market as many products/services you want (instead of just one) for multiple streams of income!

I can't tell you how many times I've heard distributors from network marketing companies get upset because their is a clause in their company's "policies and procedures" manual that PROHIBITS that rep from marketing or selling a competing product. Network marketing companies know how to make multiple streams of income, but rarely do they ever teach distributors how, right?

So many people believe they are truly INDEPENDENT marketers when they join a networking business, but many times they find out they are restricted in what they can actually promote. Some people are ok with that, and some would say that is not true independence. Either way, it's important to know the specifics with anything you decide to get involved with so you can determine if it is a good fit for you and your income earning goals.

Now, there are different types of affiliate programs ranging from things that pay one time commissions each time your marketing or advertising makes a sale, to ones that pay you residual commissions every month as people continue subscribing to that specific service or continue buying that consumable product you are marketing.

Being an affiliate offers total freedom to be able work from ANYWHERE with simply just your computer, an internet connection, and some specific marketing knowledge! You don't have to attend meetings, spend time on the phone with "tire-kicking" prospects, try to get your downline people to DO something, or worry much about your competition. You can also market things that are popular in ANY economic condition, so recessions and bad economies won't kill your business (or income). Truth is, people are ALWAYS buying or investing in SOMETHING (whether it's information or actual products/services) - so you have the opportunity to find out what people ARE buying, and then set yourself up as an affiliate with those things and cash in anytime!

It is important that beginners in affiliate marketing obtain a true perspective on the industry and have realistic expectations. Many people "try" affiliate marketing, but don't make a go of it because they didn't get the right type of training on this industry from someone who has proven experience and results.

With the growing trend of more and more people trying to take control of how they earn their money (instead of depending on an employer or a typical job), affiliate marketing can be a VERY lucrative and rewarding option you may want to look into. You can work COMPLETELY from home, pretty much ZERO upfront investment (as most affiliate programs are free to join), and earn BIG commissions with no strings attached! BUT...

So, you want to be an affiliate marketer? Well, where do you start?

For beginners in affiliate marketing, starting off correctly (as opposed to just chancing it) can have a HUGE impact on your success and longevity in this potentially very lucrative business model.

As someone who is and has been making thousands each month in one-time AND residual affiliate commissions, I learned it the HARD way and (looking back) wished I would have invested some time and a little money on effective training on being a successful affiliate.

I recently took a break from my usual business activities (including going on a vacation with my wife and kids), and during the process realized something that I was struggling with...

The truth is, there are so many ways to make money, accomplish things, and get educated in this industry - that it is almost overwhelming to just stay focused on what is important and find a path to stick with, and put your heart into it.

For instance:

The GOOD news is that there truly are so many different ways to market your business and make money in this industry - but the BAD news is...

For many, the abundance of opportunities to choose from, different marketing methods to use, different training systems to obtain education with, etc. lead people to an overwhelming sense of TOO MUCH INFORMATION and TOO MANY CHOICES - which in turn complicates the actual simplicity of this business, and causes them to:

Either "freeze up" and spend their time researching all available options constantly and never really moving forward, and/or they become scattered and try to become a "jack of all trades" and end up burned out with no CONSISTENCY of results!

I have to admit, I have done both of these and have realized how much time, energy, and money I wasted through a lack of concentrated focus. When you study successful people, you'll see that a very common trait in all of them is a laser-focused concentration on a FEW things utilizing a FEW specific tools of leverage to see them through.

I want to encourage you today to work on staying focused and concentrating on the PRIMARY tasks needed to accomplish your goals, and constantly be filtering out the sometimes helpful, but unnecessary information and activities that would cause you to become distracted and off balance with achieving your end results.

Are You REALLY Making Money in Network Marketing NOW?

You know, sometimes people get so busy trying to "build" theirnetwork marketing business (downline)...

That they don't realize that they may be putting the "cart beforethe horse" when it comes to their own objectives.

Let me simply explain:

(By the way, some of this WILL get some people uncomfortable - butsometimes that is necessary to truly evaluate ourselves honestly.)

Here is something I learned from a million dollar producer and mentorin this industry:

=> Many people are too focused on trying to create long term "residual" income that they lose sight of FIRST...

Granted, residual income is very important - and can be accomplished through a number of ways (not JUST by a building downline); but you must ask yourself...

"If I am not making much money right now on my OWN efforts, how can I realistically believe that I can build a good residual income anytime soon when it's DEPENDENT on OTHERS making money and getting the job done?"

Building a typical residual income through "downline building" can go quickly or slowly for you - but because it's based on what OTHERS do (and not just your upfront efforts alone), you really do NOT have control of that speed.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Even though you can't control what others do, you have full control over what YOU do and the income YOU make right NOW on your
personal efforts!

The problem is that with the way most typical businesses design the compensation structure - the actual "upfront income/commission" payout is pretty weak, and takes a TON of personal sales/sign ups to achieve some solid part time or even full time income with.

THE SOLUTION:

What people are doing to continue the long term process of building residual income, but take care of business NOW and start making some decent money NOW...
